  1. Twissis photo in the Aussie Swap inspired me to give this a go BUT I forgot to ask the DH to take the crockpot down from the top shelf before he went to bed for his day of sleep and by the time I realised it was going to be too late by the time he got up, so I resorted to the oven. I scaled it back to a 4 serve recipe and made in a loaf pan, baking at 175C for 30 minutes, drained off the fat (there was very little) and then added the sauce topping (a first in a meatloaf for me) and baked for a further 15 minutes (next time make this step 3 to 5 minutes) which made the sauce topping come out rather crusty and sweet but still was good. Thank you bmcnichol for a new adventure, for the Aussie 12 Days of Christmas Swap.

  2. Served this for super bowl and everyone raved about it. I followed the recipe as it was printed. Reviews said it made delicious sandwiches but I didn't have any left over to test that! Will definitely make this again

  4. Absolutely fantastic. Easy. My 23-month-old helped me make this! No mess and it was so moist! I used ground turkey. Couldn't really shape it into a loaf very well but I used a smaller crockpot so it kind of took that shape. Was not an issue for us at all. This is a keeper. Thanks!

I have two boys Eddie 18 and Brandon 10. I have been with my hubby for 16 years. I work full time outside the home and my boys keep me busy at home. Eddie is a singer and base guitar player in a band and Brandon races go karts. We also have a Collie/Beagle mix named Sugar.I love to cook and try out new recipes. My family likes it too but at times ask my to make just "normal" food, as I forget sometimes to make my own TNT recipes. I cook a lot with with my crock pot as it makes life a lot easier for me. I am always on the look out for new crock pot recipes.I'm not much of a baker as I don't like to measure things.I collect cookbooks and recipes in general. I usually start with a recipe and tweak to my families liking. My Rating System: 5 Stars = The whole family enjoyed the dish and it will be added to my TNT cookbook. Book #220911. These recipes will be made again and again.4 Stars = Recipe was good, but needed some modifications or it was good but not something we would want on a regular basis. Also goes into my TNT-4 star recipe cookbook. Book #2209123 Stars = It was edible, but won't be made again.2 Stars = Needs some kind of major adjustments.1 Stars = Inedible, didn't work, waste of ingredients.
