10 Celebrity Recipes We Don't Regret Trying (2)

Over here at BuzzFeed, we try a ton of celebrity recipes — and TBH, a lot of them are pretty underwhelming (or just plain bad), but every now and then we try one that really lives up to the hype.

So we rounded up 12 of the most successful (and delicious) celebrity recipes we've tried so you can cook like a star:

1. Chrissy Teigen's Low and Slow Scrambled Eggs

Chrissy Teigen's recipe gives you that soft, custardy texture without being too loose. You basically just load up some eggs with a ton of cream and butter, and cook it super slowly. With that much fat, how could we dislike it? Highly recommended for people who don't like super soft scrambles.

2. Marilyn Monroe's Stuffing

Surprised Marilyn Monroe has a stuffing recipe? So were we. But then we tried it. And we loved it. And we wondered why people didn't know about it sooner. (But a warning to all: It does contain liver, so if liver isn't your thing, stay clear. If you're OK with it though, we highly recommend you make this recipe next Thanksgiving.)

3. Kylie Jenner's Garlic Ramen

Instant ramen + butter + eggs + garlic — I mean, how good could it really be? Well it turns out it can be really, really darn good. Kylie's simple "recipe" transforms the dorm room staple into something entirely different and surprisingly savory. If you're on an instant ramen budget and want to try something new, we say go for it.

4. Beyonce's Guacamole

The queen has only ever published one recipe. ONE. So, of course, we tried it. It's a fairly simple guacamole recipe, an unassuming mix of tomatoes, onions, and avocado — but dang is it good. If you're looking for a great, standard guacamole recipe, this is for you.

5. Patti LaBelle's "Over The Rainbow" Mac 'N' Cheese

Patti LaBelle's mac 'n' cheese recipe has become somewhat of a legend. We heard countless times that HER recipe is THE recipe, so we of course had to try it. Not only did we not have to make a cheese sauce (you just kinda toss everything together — which is so much easier than making a sauce) but the end result was everything we ever wanted in a classic mac 'n' cheese. If you're the kind of person who likes their mac 'n' cheese simple and unfussy, this is for you.

6. Ayesha Curry's Horchata Brownies

These brownies are made with rice milk, a ton of cinnamon, and rum — so we were a bit skeptical before making them, but the flavors totally work together. The base recipe for the brownies is nice and fudgy (which is a must) and the horchata glaze takes it to a whole new level. Horchata lovers, this one's for you.

7. Chrissy Teigen's Tuna Melt

Sure, this recipe is simple, but it was mad good. It's one of those recipes you can make on a hectic work night, when all you have energy to do is make something simple. It takes the humble tuna melt to a whole new level, and is definitely a recipe we are keeping on our weeknight rotation.

8. The Rock's "World-Famous" Pancakes

This "recipe" is stupid simple. (Notice the quotation marks around recipe?) It's basically just pancake mix, mixed with chocolate chips, and topped with whipped cream. Simple, not at all low-sugar, and indulgently good. Everyone in the office ate this recipe up.

9. Meghan Markle's Zucchini "Bolognese"

Michelle No/BuzzFeed, Chris Jackson / Getty Images

Zucchini, cooked so long that it breaks down into a sauce, then tossed with pasta. It sounded so weird (and unrealistic) that we just had to try it. Turns out Markle is onto something, and the zucchini really did break down and coat the noodles. Who knew the duch*ess Of Sussex could make such great pasta?

10. 2-Chainz's Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Taylor Miller/BuzzFeed, Christopher Polk / Getty Images

Yes, 2-Chainz has a mashed potato recipe. And yes, we most certainly made it. The man makes a really great mash — and he loads it up with a ton of garlic and chopped parsley so it's not only super flavorful, but fancy. We love.
